How does BHV-Knop.nl work?
- Anyone can press an Emergency Response Button at any time of the day.
- Go to the location of the call as quickly as possible and follow the instructions from the team leader and/or emergency response plan.
How do I receive an emergency response call?
With the BHV-Knop.nl App:
- Open the message and indicate whether you are available to help.
- View the location and go there.
- Follow your emergency response plan and team leader for further instructions regarding the incident.
In case of a telephone call:
- Answer the call and listen carefully to the location of the alarm.
- Test 5 if you come to help (or Test 9 if you don't come to help.)
- Go to the location.
- Follow your emergency response plan and team leader for further instructions regarding the incident.
Communication during an emergency response call
With the BHV-Knop.nl App:
- The app provides the opportunity to talk to each other.
- Open the microphone to speak directly with all emergency response team members.
In case of a telephone call:
- Please indicate with Test 5 that you come to help.
- You will be connected with all emergency response staff in a group conversation.
- Make agreements about muting the microphone when you are only listening.
Log in to the app
- Download X-Guard Alarm app by click here or by scanning the following QR code:
- In most cases, the username is the business email address.
If this doesn't work, ask your administrator for your username. You do not need to create a new account through the app.
Registering and deregistering as a first responder
With the BHV-Knop.nl App:
- The app provides the opportunity to talk to each other.
- Open the microphone to speak directly with all emergency response team members.
With the Kiosk:
- Use the Kiosk to sign in and out when entering a building or area.
- The kiosk ensures the presence of emergency response personnel and also displays information about active alarms.
Not enough emergency response personnel in a building or area? You might be called in for a response from colleagues in a neighboring building or area.
